Amy M. Miller writes essays, short fiction, and children's literature. She is a graduate of Spalding University's MFA in Writing program. Amy's writing has appeared in Salon, Hippocampus Magazine[PANK], The Louisville Review, Motif, and Under the Gum Tree among other publications and news outlets. She received the 2017 Harpur Palate Nonfiction Prize winner and an Honorary Mention from the Flyway -- Notes from the Field Nonfiction Prize. Amy lives in Louisville, KY with her husband, two kids, and ornery dogs. She is the Director of Communications and Marketing for the nonprofit organization Louisville Literary Art. In her spare time she  drinks too much coffee, devours a castle of books stacked next to the bed, and binges on repeats of Parks and Recreation.
